"Give me a reason to live,
a temptation to seek,
a dream to shutter
and from its pieces to restore
the puzzle of myself."

Said the old man
as darkness conquered the room.

"Give me a pen and a blank sheet of paper
to create, change, build a train,
and with it, I’ll leave."

And the paper was violently cut in two.

But the drawings did not stop there and walls came next
and the movements of his hands became
fast, abrupt, brutal.

His prayers turned into inexplicable stutters,
whispers of agony, turned into screams of rage
and then... he stopped, standing completely idle.
Deadpan.

"And if none of my prayers can be heard, one thing I ask before I'm dead:
give me the power to destroy, to make my enemies tremble.
Grant me the power to show them
how wild animals bleed.

Give me a vision to see and my eyes forever yours shall be".

Said the man and light came out of the window
Fullmoon was the answer to his riddle.

Loved it dude.=D Dark Grim and despondent but beautiful and that metamorphosis from dark to light in the end was a beauty. :)
Thanks man I really appreciate it! Indeed I had inspiration this time and what I liked about the specific one was that I had the chance to incorporate a semi-prose style =D

What was the riddle actually? what is theme? What is happening with the narrator? Is he going to die?
Το be continued XD

Just kidding

Well his whole problem was that he had nothing to desire and he had lost himself trying to find something to aim for. Basically, the poem begins with a prayer to god from a helpless man but as the poem progresses that man becomes paranoid and instead of praying for being well and finding what he wants, he starts to desire power to crush those he hates, who do not understand him. At that moment the prayer changes and he no longer prays to God but to Satan, to give him power in exchange for his eyes. The light can be either interpreted as the acquisition of enlightenment or as a catalyst that turns him into a werewolf and that's why it says before "show how wild animals bleed", indicating that he himself became a werewolf, and the Foolmoon along with prayer was the ritual for his metamorphosis :)
