And don't you dare call us "fanboys" since I have played Metal Gear games before you were even born. While I played the first real Metal Gear super hit , that gave the series a major scale boost on gaming society, on Playstation One, Metal Gear Solid, you were still wearing diapers.

When I played Metal Gear Solid: VR Missions as Cyborg Ninja, I simply loved it! One of my favorite characters, even before he became a cyborg. This will surely bring back some golden memories.

Nice to see a new metal gear solid game, I will be getting it along with the HD collection that comes out in February, can't wait. Although I hoped MGS1 would be included but sadly HD isn't enough to bring it back to life.

Now to the topic at hand:
I am thrilled to find out, will there be anything else involved other than the usage of a sword? Some fire arms would give a nice touch to it and a choice for the fans that loved that part of the game, to use them rather than the sword. I don't know, that's not probably the idea of the game but it would be a nice add.

Like said, this is just a phase with the development team I suppose. Probably something to test their abilities and something they wanted to be done. The next MGS is being made as we speak so, no need to worry.

As far as I recall, it's a whole different team working on MGR. Not sure tho.
