i think the mera mara no mi should either be eaten by luffy or the 10th straw hat member. i personally want luffy to eat it. knowing luffy he probably doesn't want to eat it but he won't want it to be eaten by anyone. but i predict luffy will eat it in the same way he ate his gomu gomu no mi, by accident or in some comical fashion.
people saying that sanji or zoro should eat it, that wouldn't make sense. zoro is a swordsman, fire wouldn't fit his fighting style and sanji fights using only his legs so it wouldn't fit him either. remember how ace used the fruit. he fought with his whole body and sanji believes that a cook's hands should only be used for cooking so therefore its not for him. and also sanji eating the fruit would make diable jumbo (i think) pointless.
out of all the straw hats the 1 most suitable to the fruit is luffy. like i said i personally want him to eat it, there is only so much he can do with rubber. i mean over the timeskip his only improvement is his haki. haki is an amazing ability but against the likes of akainu and BB hes gona need a lot more. but its not like he has fought at full strength yet but only time can tell.
here are reason why luffy should eat the fruit:
- BB has a least 2 DF 1 logia (Yami Yami no Mi) and 1 paramecia (Gura Gura no Mi). luffy eating the fruit will put him on equal grounds or somewhat around there. 1 logia (Mera Mera no Mi) and 1 paramecia (Gomu Gomu no Mi)
- theres nothing better to make him feel like he has ace's will than having his ability
- to be honest when you think about it although ace was strong, even he probably had not used the full potential of the fruit himself, and maybe luffy will do that
the only thing that kinda says luffy won't get the fruit is that if luffy was going to get hiken then he wouldn't have learned redhawk.
but i really want luffy to eat it. it would make him and BB the only unique individuals to have 2 DF.
plus i believe more in the appearence of the tenth member ! xd PEACE!
