Memories
I don’t know where I am, but its dark and cold,
I can see myself, sitting in a corner, with my hands holding my head,
tears running down my face, with no trace of emotion to be seen, as if I were a man, frail and old,
my mind flashes back to memories of the past, and it is then that I wish I was dead.
In my journey for happiness, I was met by sorrow and pain,
in my quest for friends, I experienced betrayal and spite,
in my adventure to find love, I found only heartbreak and bane,
the journey back home, was a walk alone through the night.
