How good are Mei's reaction feats? This shouldn't be very difficult for Orochimaru.

She blitzed Black Zetsu, a sensor so I suppose that is a good reaction feat.
And maybe we should focus mainly on scenario 2 since it's obvious Oro wins S1 via summonings. How does he find her in once her mist is up?

Distance is 40 meters so true form needs to make up that distance, that will give Mei beyond enough time to put up her mist which is acidic. The area is perfect for acidic mist as the mist will be trapped in.

OT: These responses were beyond funny. Most overrating Orochimaru with no one bringing up reasons as to why he wins specifically with no arms.

Yes but he cant travel 40m like its nothing before Mei puts up her mist. Orochimaru isnt immune to melting as stated Katsuyu can kill him. Acidic mist will kill him if he stays in it.

''Slithering snake mode'' greatly increases his speed so he would arrive at Mei faster, But man even if that wouldn't work what is holding him back to use Mandara no Jin, to create a diversion and quickly use Doton: Moguragakure no Jutsu, thus escaping from the mist and coming underneath Mei in snake mode to use Fushi tensei and quickly end it.

And like you said If Orochimaru can't see the same would apply for Mei, too bad Orochimaru can sense her and thus use Fushi tensei and end this fight quickly.
