No? Bombs might be small enough to avoid the acidic particles U_U

I seriously doubt it, the mist should be dense enough to not let any bombs slip through, plus if you want to argue mist wouldn't be able to melt the C4 bombs then you should also argue that electricity can't do the same, which is false, seeing as how they got affected (which has nothing to do with the Raiton>Doton argument) and diffused by Sasuke electrifying his insides.

Even if she can't maintain a shield shape, the mist would drift to one side.

Mei could just make more, or simply move along with the mist. I think Mei has a pretty solid counter to C4, though she still loses when C3 comes into play.

Aerial advantage and better intelligence gives Deidara pretty safe win here.

Theoretically, couldn't Mei just surround herself with Acid Mist so the nanobombs would get melted when they come into contact with it?

She'd possibly melt some of the bombs but they're already microscopic, the problem w/ gasses is their molecules are so dispersed that anything can get mixed in w/ them. & Since the bombs would probably be more dense due to being made of doton I'd still see some particles easily slipping in w/ the mist, which isn't even thick enough to obstruct vision in an enclosed space.

Even if she can melt the clay that doesn't remove it's functionality which is to explode on deidara's command. The bombs could still explode regardless if they melt or not, & if they simply disintegrate then the bombs that slip through can explode as well.

Also C4's range is , I doubt mei has enough mist to offset the number of bombs.

C3 needs prep.

Electric molecules are so much more compact than mist particles .-. Then there is the fact she has no way to physically see the bombs to move her mist in a fashion to defend against it.

All he has to do is explode it right on top of her (Closer than with Sasuke) anyways and she won't have time to do so.

Deidara negs the Mizukage with C3 or C4.
