Why would she randomly use boil mist when C4 goes off? To the normal eye it looks like a misfire?

Giving this one to deidara. Given the distance he should be able to get on a bird before any of mei's large-scale jutsu get close enough to reach him. Once in the air he should have the ability to avoid all of mei's attacks while she'd have to constantly avoid & defend against bombs. Then she has no answer for C4.

she would use mist against C4 clones, C2 clones C1 swarms & any other pressure tactics as a matter of course. she has no other options; but this one just happens to be effective ITT matchup

No....but Bakuton is the explosive chakra within, as Sasuke stated the bombs are made of doton. He's already shown the bombs can withstand the force of water, and since its made of doton it will casually withstand against the suitons and power through them. Not to mention it would take incredible timing to use water pillar to stop one.

well sasuke was wrong. the bombs are made of ''clay''. what handseal Dei uses or what color they appear in the sharingan is irrelevant.
bombs arte a combination of baku'ton chakra & iwagakures clay kinjutsu....& it still doesn't matter what element its actually made of.

no, a clay projectile the size of whatever, can't simply ''power thru'' dozens of tons of pressurized water.
a projectile can't ''withstand'' any thing in mid air other than the abvious weight of gravity. any new factor that is introduced takes it from being an ''free'' offense flying at a target, to being a vulnerable object in the cross fire.

earth is a defensive element in narutoverse. if your argument was that deidara makes a defensive/earthwall but uses clay instead of dirt, & is able to block a water jutsu. Then you would be following theproper logic of elemental wheel.
