In the latest manga the Key Scroll Frog said that if Naruto doesn't block the will of the Kyuubi his menevolence will take over his heart. The same thing could of happened to Madara when he was controlling the Kyuubi.

Er.. they were talking about when using it as a host it could take you over if you released too much of it, thus, since madara was never a host it does not apply to him. He simply put it under his control with his eyes, had nothing to do with what we just learned :l Hope that clear that up
