[HA] Mastery of Shadows

As the dawn of a new day arrives I stand looking on with my shaggy hair flowing in the wind as I wait for my senpai to arrive to train me in the arts of our clan...though he is quite late to the party
Shikaku...YOUR LATE! I bellowed at the top of my voice out of frustration

Shikaku rushes to the place where his students wishes to rendevouz, today the young Nara would like to learn the secret ability of our clan. Not taking so much time, Shikaku arrive to the place. He then quickly approaching a young man which already anxious, with frustatation look.

My apologize if you waited to long, but I’m not late right ? Shikaku smiles, tossing a big smile toward the young man. Shikaku placed his hands onto his pocket, he wear his Nara robe with Nara symbol on its back. He is the clan leader after all.

As the man comes running into the training area, I simply sigh and reach into my pocket and take out a hair tie and pass my hands through my long shaggy hair, placing all my hair except my front bangs into a simple ponytail at the back of my head and simply smile at the clan leaders lazy behavior No matters...let's just start already.. saying this I sigh and let go all the anger with a loud huff in my breathe as I try not to place this man under a very illusive genjutsu

As I sit next to Shikaku, I close my eyes and begin to mediate and focus my minds attention on the flow of my chakra, thinking about calm waters along the shore line of Kirigakure, I simply relax my muscles, my body starts to become freed up, but still my lower half is abit stiff, so I change up my posture slightly so that my back is now erect. I then slowly flow my charkra again and my body is in perfect harmony. I feel calm like the waves...free like the wind...

As I open my eyes I take a piece of paper and write down my response, using my chakra as ink. "The Nara clan, we are a noble clan the hails from Konoha no Sato. We are a clan of natural intellectual persons. We reside in a area just outside the Nara clan forest, where we raise deers, hence our name, Shika, meaning deer. Our hidden clan abilities resolve around using our shadows has a extension of our ninjutsu. Our shadows and members has a special sensory link, that even when not in sight we can sense when someone makes contact with our shadow. The weakness of our shadows is both light and darkness in terms of elemental aspect. With too much light, it can overwhelm the shadow due to the absence of a physical matter to produce a shadow. Darkness is a weakness as well as it makes it impossible for a shadow to form due to the absence of sufficient lighting. In physical terms, it requires a lot of chakra to maintain, so a new trainee like myself, wouldn't be able to sustain a shadow tag for much time. Also someone with a better physical body can break free. One last note is our love for ponytails by Nara clan men.Also Shikamaru is a famous Nara member

Good, now lets get your knowledge into practice

Close your eyes again, while you continue meditate, I want you to control your chakra slowly and steadily, begin to channel your chakra into your shadow and once you feel you have enough chakra gathered, make it move a bit forward.

 

[Mirai]

As I was told to mediate again, I take the paper and place it to my side, I then across my legs and begin to think. As I thinked more I released the stress on my muscles, allowing my mind to become much more pour in the aspect of thought. My goal? Was to make the shadow move. As I breathed in and out, my chakra started to become much calmer and easier to control, to the point, I felt I had mastery of chakra control, though this was only a inside joke, I then focused the chakra into the lower half of my body and begin to infuse it into my shadow, that was not an easy feat, making my shadow move? Darn I wonder how my siblings got this down so easily. I continue to flow my chakra into the shadow in hopes it responds to me. After about an hour and a half, I finally felt my shadow move! Though it was only a few inches it was a good start I thought to myself.

Shikaku open up his eyes and take a magnifiying glass as he felt his students shadow start to move. he put the magnifiying glass into his student's shadow.

Good, it moved eventhough just a bit. Shikaku then stand up on his feet. Open your eyes and now raise young one, let us stand up.

After his student stand on his feet.
Now perform the same process but this time using the rat hand seal prior it, try to move your shadow much further, injecting more chakra into your shadow, gain more focus.

 

[Mirai]

As I rised from the ground and unto my feet, I tapped my chin as I try to remember the rat seal, and with a quick snap of my wrist I slammed my hands together , this time as I channel my chakra, I focus more into the shadow, while using the rat seal to maintain my flow of chakra. As the shadow moved slightly more, I needed a better push, so I channeled even more into the shadow, until it moved away from me several feet away.

Shikaku observe the young man shadow, it moved forward, eventhough not too steady but looking by his student determination, his shadow began to move further more as Shikaku wanted.

Good job young one, now I want you to perform it again, but now make your shadow to move in zigzag motion until mid range.

 

[Mirai]

Being done as told, by injecting more chakra into my shadow, I concentrate slightly more then before, to the point my hand is hurting due to the pressure I placed on the formation of the rat seal, but seeing the shadow not moving, I relax my hands, then the shadow starts moving again. As it does I control it with my chakra having it shift from left to right in a zig zag motion until it reached mid range away from, where I then withdraw it and bring it back to me

Upon seeing his students progress, Shikaku smile, he pleased with what he just saw. His student making a fine progress.

nicely done young nara, I'm pleased. Shall we proceed to the next part.

"Kage Bunshin No Jutsu" Shikaku creating a clone and send it infront of his student in mid range.

Now move forward your shadow upon my clone's shadow, perform the same thing like you just did. Just try to reach his shadow and connect his shadow with yours.

 

[Mirai]

As I was given the instructions, I perform the rat seal, while channeling my chakra again into my shadow, this time thanks to all the training I was given, it mosves more easier then beofre, seems my shadow has the hearts for me now xD. I then channel my chakra into more and project it forward along the surface of the ground, where it moves straight at first, but then as it was about to enter mid range, i simply jerk it left to right to confuse the clone. As it did, I reach the shadow towards the clones on, as it touched the clones shadow, i channled my chakra into his own, ultimately casuing the two shadows to merge into a single one, but this time its in a straight line between the two of us

Now comes to the hard part, if you are sure that you've managed to connect and merge your shadow with my clone's shadow, now try to bind and trap his shadow with your. Make his shadow become yours and you are fully possess his shadow.

 

[Mirai]

As told, I simply focus my attention to the clone. As it stands there taunting my to try and make it my own, I simply loosen the possesion to see if the clone would react to the change. As the clone thinks its free, I channel my chakra again, this time the shadow connects with the clone, and as I do this, the shadow crawls up the body of the clone and prevents him from moving. I simply release the rat seal and begin to weave my hand and the clone does the same. I jump up and down and the clone repeats the same motion. He is under my control! i simply reach into my pocket and remove my shades and smile looking all cool as me and the clone does nothing but do exactly like I do

Shikaku have trap the young man shadow and bind it, it was my clone were sleeping, and I can kill you right know if i were your foe.

unleash the bind and draw back my shadow
