a huge bird comes rushing at you from the sky, while you look at it, i appear from behind and use the shaodw of the bird to make mines bigger and trap you in kagemane.

i want you to elaborate an awnser to the following questions:what do you know of our clan jutsu, how does it work, what is its enemy and friend?

nara clan jutsu usually are used to bind an opponent using shadows or are manipulated to attack them. the shadows can travel as fast a ninja can run and faster if combined with other shadows...uh...high rank fire jutsu can stop a nara jutsu or a complete absence of light. they are best used in an area crowded with trees. ive read the explaination already. lol

its just a question that must be done in order to make sure that you have an idea of what you are going to learn.
about the fire thing that seemed that was kinda incomplete.. When a Nara shadow jutsu is incomplete and a large source of light comes into play between the user and target, the advance of the shadow is slowed (B rank fire), halted (A rank Fire), or pushed back to user (S rank and Forbidden Fire).
As you can see, its not always defeated by a fire jutsu, it has different effects depending the rank.
ok less talk and more work, first i want you to try and manipulate your shadow by focusing some chakra into it and make it move around you.

*i focus chakra into my shadow making a thin line slowly strech out. it continues moving forward and thickens as it goes. then i manipulate it to snake around and move in circles*

hmm guess you should work on your speed, it will get better with practice.
ok now focus some more chakra into it and make it go towards my clone, once the shadow reaches my clone's shadow, connect with it and try to trap my clone.

As KYF is offline now, I'll answer your question.

It's not absolute, and can be broken out of if the persons chakra is stronger than yours. This is shown in Shikamaru's fight against Tayuya when she activates her curse mark version 2 it becomes very difficult for Shikamaru to keep her trapped.

You will definitely be able to keep someone of your rank trapped (as long as they don't do anything to increase their chakra like activating a Curse Mark, etc..) and should be able to keep someone one rank above you trapped. Any higher and they'll be able to overpower it.

*i take out 3 shurikens and focus my...shadow chakra(?)..into them. when i finish, i throw the shuriken in the area of your shadow and concentrate on them to stop your from moving*

as soon as your shadow shurikens touch my shadow, the shadows merge and i become trapped in your shadow jutsu. ok course, since i am epic i get my way out of your shadow jutsu.

well its a matter of physics...
*i take out some more shuriken and focus shadow chakra into them. then i predict where his shadow would be based on his speed and throw some into his shadow, stopping his movement*

as soon as you throw the shurikens, the clone does the same canceling them :/
you´ll have to work harder than that if you want to trap my clone.

*i use fireball jutsu, aiming it above the clone's head and as it goes past him and makes his shadow larger i toss more shadow chakra infused shuriken at his shadow, trapping him*

now we will do something similar to the first jutsu, you will have to make your shadow extend towards my clone and once your shadow merges it with his, you will make your shadow crawl from his feet to his neck with the shape of a hand and strangle him untill he is knocked unconcious.
