its out today in uk and it should be could especially since its free but you dont get any of the new characters striaght away you still have to buy the packs and hope you get one. i really hate that system anyone agree ?

I managed to get a batarian and the krogan striker assault rife in 2 packs. It seems pretty easy to get so its not a big deal

I have already seen several people with geth and batarians. I have yet to see someone with the justicar or the krogan vanguard though. The new level designs are really nice and they seem to come up about 50% of the time if you play on random

It's disgusting that they release a game at roughly £49.99 and then expect us to pay another chunk of money for extra crap!!!!

Game developers are becoming c**** and thieves to boot. They should be shot for what they do. Charging £50 for a game they haven't even finished and then saying,"we made more stuff but it'll cost ya!!!"
NOOO!!!! Just release the game as it is meant to be. Full of all the content. That's why we buy it and spent £50 on it. For the full game. Not for 3/4's of it.
I hate this new internet DLC trend that's started. If you buy the game new,you should be able to access 100% of all of it's content.

This DLC pack is free. So is the next DLC pack that comes out in the summer. They said from the begining that the first multiplayer pack would be free. I don't disagree with you though. DLC in general is a money grab. It works for online multiplayer though because they need consistant income to keep the servers running. I would prefer to pay for new content as it comes out than pay a monthly fee like WoW but that is the route MW has taken. They now have a monthly fee package

free is good of course but it's not really free is it?
You pay for the game and thus you've already paid for all the extra's.
I think that them charging for anything which can improve the story of the game or adds new characters to the main plot is disgusting.
Dragon Age is what I think of. £15,£10 or whatever for Shale and a better experience. It does make the game better,but it shouldn't have cost you d**k. Because you bought the game.
What you are reffering to though sounds ok. I wish they would stop though. To release a game and then 1 week after to release DLC is an insult.

Funny that you use that example because when i bought dragon age there was a key code inside to get shale for free. In addition a key code for new armour for mass effect. To be perfectly honest I have never actually paid for dlc. Also, I had absolutely no plans to pay for any BioWare DLC or products after how bad the ending of mass effect was. I won't not install it if I don't have to pay for it though. Not to say i didn't already with my initial purchase
