Who all is waiting for this to come out?!?!?! i've been a huge fan of the series for years and they hooked me even more with the new characters to the roster. I want to know who you guys are most anticipating to see in this amazing new game. I myself am looking forward to seeing dante, trish and chris redfield in this game, even though i support the marvel team lol

I have never played the games but I did watch that inside xbox video that shwos the game and some features and I have to admit it looks bad ass. Although it looks bad ass I wont be getting it at all, waiting for Crysis 2 and Gears of War 3.

They better have alot of DLC characters. From Marvel I wanna see : Black Panther, Gambit,Carnage,Venom,Bishop, Sentry,Iron Fist.
And from Capcom: Ibuki, M. Bison, Megaman X, Nero, Vergil

Bloodtrain, i agree with you completely. Ive been dieing to have a slugfest with carnage and venom on these games and nero and vergil would def be badass dlc characters, i would also like zero from megaman, if he isnt on there already. sonadai, if you like fighting games, then you should give this a whirl, maybe renting it but im pretty sure this is going to be badass. This game was on my must have list with deadspace 2, mortal kombat 9, gears of war 3 and final fantasy xiii-2.

Absent Characters

Characters confirmed by Ryota Niitsuma to be absent from Marvel vs. Capcom 3 have so far included the monsters Tyrant and Nemesis of the Resident Evil series, citing concerns that their inclusion would change the game's content rating, as well as the primary members of Marvel's Fantastic Four, who were excluded at the company's suggestion for currently undisclosed reasons.

Frank West from Dead Rising was originally included in the game, but was removed late in development due to extra work required due to the nature of his moves.Niitsuma also planned to include the Silver Surfer, but the team couldn't find a way to incorporate his signature surfboard into the fighting engine; they considered adding him without it, but decided that he would look too similar to Iceman.Niitsuma stated that original characters from Marvel vs. Capcom 2, such as Amingo and Ruby Heart, will not appear.
Writer Frank Tieri confirmed that Marvel has allowed for full use of their library of characters for storyline purposes, and that several non-playable characters such as the Fantastic Four, Ghost Rider, and Man-Thing will make cameo appearances in the stages and endings.​
