I just stumbled above the fast, that kishi just released another Manga series:

Now I am quite curious, does this mean naruto is going to end in the next few month? Wanted to inform you, and listen to you opinion.

He's filling plot holes and everything is starting to come full circle. I think the manga is almost finished. Only way we're getting a part 3 is if the anime studio decides to milk the series or Kishi gets an idea to expand the series further.
