Theres nothing bad about forgiving others.

Its the fact that you call the man who caused the death of your parents and an entire clan "the coolest guy". Thats when it becomes bs, no need to go that far.
Then reread those last two panels again and this time properly. Because I can see that you only read what you want and make baseless accusations.

You guys not that dumb right to always take things literally?

Now please stop with this stupid pointless argument!

Obito killed Naruto's parents. There I said it!

Forgiving someone and calling them the coolest is two different things.

"I forgive bin ladin for 9/11. may he rest in peace."
"I forgive hitler for gassing the jews. I pray his sins are forgiven, he knew not what he did"

vs

"Don't talk shit about bin ladin! He was the coolest!"
"Don't bad mouth hitler! As far as I'm concerned, he was awesome!"

Yeah that was a bit much wasn't it XD.

I'm fine with forgiving but why was he acting like Obito was his best friend all of a sudden? It's not that I don't understand the purpose or anything, it's actually really straightforward. And this is the problem for me, it's just too idealistic like others say. But well, I don't have anything against it, or people who find it inspiring - not everyone has to be cynical like me.
I can understand this but as I said. That is what Sasuke is there for. He is the Cynic/Realist. His character keeps Naurto based in the reality of the situation.

Naruto's idealism is about taking care of the bigger picture (ending the cycle of hate)

But yeah I agree with you here,
