Violence against violence does not end hatred

Vegeance does not end hatred

Forgiveness is the only way to end hatred

This is something Naruto has struggled with.


Forgiving Nagato was his first test of ending hatred.
Forgiving Obito was his final test of ending hatred.


You may dislike Naruto praising Obito and forgiving him. However you forget the show is about Naruto forgiving

You are exactly right... It's not necessarily that he likes or accepts what obito has done but instead is just forgiving him and respecting obito's true self, the one untainted by madara
