Many fans say Obito is cool, why is it problem if Naruto says Obito is cool?

I still don't get how someone with brain cells can equate Obito killing ppl for his own purpose to Itachi making the best decision out of scenario that would have inevitably led to the extermination of the Uchiha anyway. Itachi just decided to take the blood onto his own hands. At least that way he could spare the Uchiha clan's reputation and spare his little brother.

Im not saying Obitos intentions werent worse, im saying that if sasuke can forgive Itachi because he knew that his heart was pure, then Naruto should be able to forgive Obito for the same reason. Narutos character is based on mercy and forgiveness, just like most other main protagonists in shounen manga. People just like to nitpick at things that Naruto does, but ignore similar things that Sasuke does

I don't think Obito is cool. He's a pedo and killed many for a 13 yr old crush. If he killed my parents, I would slit his throat the instant I had a chance. I wouldn't think twice about it and I defo wouldn't refer to him as the coolest guy...

Regardless of his reasoning, he outright murdered his family. Yet sasuke forgave itachi to a degree even greater than Naruto ever has in regards to obito.

No, you need to read my comment again, jesus asked god for forgiveness to the ones who were killing him, that means that even if he was going through a terrible pain at the moment he was capable of get out of himself and forgive others, similar to what naruto did,even though obito caused him a great pain he got out of himself and let go his grudge against him, i never compared obito to jesus, you misundestood my comment, but the point of all of this is following jesus example, to forgive even when it hurts, if you only treat well the ones who treat you well what meril do you have at all?
