Not guna lie... I only really had Internet for bout 8 years n was only during the sauske naruto fight that I ever saw anything naruto.. N this was all only anime.. At this point I had never heard or manga to me there was comic books.. So I took everything anime to be literal and the law I think defo should be taken into account until kishi cone out n expresses personally that the animes extension if his work is bs I think it's acceptable to take anime accounts into accommodation after all manga only gives few frames of the action per issue... Do of course there gas has to be explications of how shut happens b that's what the anime does

I hear you, I felt the same way with DBZ and it's crazy the differences between the manga and the anime. For example Raditz wanted Goku to have a pile of 100 humans on Roshi's island for him to give Gohan back...we sure as heck never saw that in the anime. Piccolo and Kami had 4 fingers not 5. Kami is actually supposed to be Earth's God not just a person who watches over.
Some people are only going to read the manga and some will only watch the anime. I watched the anime for all of Part 1 of Naruto, I didn't even know about the manga until Part 2 began and then I reread the entire series in the manga because to me it's the true expression of Kishimoto's work while the anime while it can be accurate is an adaptation made by someone who isn't the author. I go with the true work of the author when I'm aware of it and that's why I disliked movies like X-Men 3, Dragonball Evolution, and other movies based of comic/book characters that totally change thhe original work of the author.

He wasn't stating that fillers are the main-stream story lines he was stating he wanted to use information from it to provide a point if it's logical, All because something isn't stated in the manga doesn't mean it's not true. Kishimoto has made mistakes himself and anime had to fix them. Isn't there a Manga only thread???

Imo, all material that is non-manga can be discounted. You can't say some things should be discounted and some shouldn't, its all negligible. There are pieces of truth found in anime fillers, like Raiga's swords and the character profiles of Hiruko's sacrifices in shippuden movie three, but the characters that existed themselves can never be counted as real.
Bottom line? All filler material is 100% negligible and you can't say anything otherwise.

I'm not particularly extremely on one side of the fence but you really have to give credit where credit is due. Excite made a very good point and gave you proof. Kishi is just a person and he messes up. You saying his point is invalid just because of the Konohamaru example when the others were spot on is just...come on man!!!!
Only proofs he gave me are drawing errors, of course they are natural as Kishi is only human. I'm arguing that events that didn't happen like this one wich is completely unreasonable should not be counted in as veritable when debating about something.
I only ever argued over Konohamaru's the others don't concern me . I am already aware of Kishi's mistakes.
-The Sai and his brother reunion is not even only graphic, it's a complete plot hole
-Raikage has his arm at the start of the 5 kages fight and there are more
-Kabuto getting his hand on Nagato,Madara and Deidara's DNA

i would view it like this....the harry potter movies were good, but did the books no justice and though both movie and book presented same outcome...you get different stuff from the movies than you do the books...same thing with Twilight...same thing with sailor moon...i mean for crying out loud they changed around the ENTIRE thing from the manga and same with Pokemon and many other stories/mangas. Pierrot studio or whatever cant exactly do "anything" with the characters but they can make up their own stories to an extent to make it work out the same.
Sadly the only "true" proof that any of the characters can do whatever someone wants to argue that they can do..they can def use manga evidence to back theories but you cant credit anime stuff until you actually see it happen or confirmed in the manga, thats just how it is because we dont know how much interaction Kishi has with the anime..if any. The manga was first so i follow the manga only though the show can sometimes be entertaining (when its not fillers...)

When ever naruto did hit someone with the rasen-shuriken it was mostly in the air not ground level the expection for the summoning pein & 3rd Raikage that the scene didn't change. If you go and check the rasengan part neva touched summoning pein the wind element did , The raikage was in the dessert so you really wouldn't see destruction because of the sand on the ground.
Proof anime needs kishimoto's approval before doing anything with his work he got his work chained up to his balls lmao xd

Konohamaru's Rasengan never did hit but the air, it was about at height were Naruto hit the fake Itachi Odama Rasengan and the damage was way smaller

Dude, relax, it's a fictional world... As long as something appeared either in the Manga/Anime or in a movie, everyone is free to consider it canon or not. The only thing that cannot be questioned (and still, some ignorants do so) are Databooks.

Konohamaru's Rasengan his directly hit the ground
Naruto hit itachi with it did way more damage
Even when tobi got hit with it minato's rasengan his body was blocking the floor and look at the impact of the force.
