In response to Chrollo's witty and sharp question, it seemingly put on a smile coated in a sad expression over Amakusa's face. Not sure what this could mean, Chrollo tucks his book in his back as Amakusa started speaking about it. He sure asked a lot of questions yet refused to let anything known about him. Sounded like a very confused individual if you asked Chrollo. "Just like its name; the book is a secret. You shall never know its contents. Even if you somehow are in possession of it, the book recognizes its owner. To foreigners, it will be filled with a bunch of obscure and nonsensical words." Having refined his skill at lying, Chrollo continued. "I'm a thief." Being as blunt as ever, Chrollo's eyes continue to stare right in Amakusa's soul, as if they were aiming to set his heart free from his worries.
Catching the thrown bible with his right hand, Chrollo sneakily peeped the expression of Amakusa as he threw it and noted it for later on. Opening the first page of the Bible however, he came to a great disappointment. In contrary to what he thought, maybe being a book just like his Bandit's Secret, it was instead a book glorifying God. In other words, a book full of lies, unlike Chrollo's. Even if they were stolen abilities, it was in Chrollo's merit to be able to control them. Skimming through the pages as he flipped them quickly, Chrollo closed his eyes in somewhat satisfaction and the same stare was yet again thrown at Amakusa. Holding the bible with his thumb and index finger, tilting it ever so lightly as to make it look like the Bible was clinging for its life, Chrollo takes out a lighter and begins to burn the book. "This is what I wanted to do. From now on, I am on a quest to eradicate these." Yet again analyzing Amakusa's expression, Chrollo could only wonder if this would have some sort of trigger in his actions. Despite his words said otherwise, his body language contradicted them. Normally, Chrollo would have left already, but he was interested at what this peculiar guy had to offer. If he had to get violent, that's even better.
