Man of Steel

Honestly did any of you think about this? And what did you think of the movie, id like to hear normal opinions and not just reviews.

I thought that there were some similairites to videogames in it, and they seemed to have immitated Star Wars and Avatar. They pretty much had the exact same storyline as in one of the first Superman movies but with better graphics.
It was very explosive and simplistic, they didnt really have the moral aspects with Superman that were very present in Smallville, atleast to me there are moral aspects, like how much of my privatelife can i sacrifice for saving others etc.
I honestly really liked the movie, and i dont understand how they can make another one. But they didnt really do anything "new". Do you agree?

I feel like if you dont like the movie you just dont get it. But maybe it isnt that good.

awful. I've already talked about this on this forum. There was no character development. Superman was boring. Zod was interesting on Krypton then became boring and two-dimensional. Lios Lane had zero character.

I liked it, unlike most people I don't care about character development, the story ain't that important also ( for me), but it had a lot of action.

I pretty much wanna see shit gettin' blown up =D

I liked it. I went in expecting mindless popcorn fun and I came out getting just that.

Well, I sure liked it better then the rest of Supermans movies. Actually, this one is now one of my favourite movies.

First, I liked his costume. Never liked those red underweras. O_O
Second, story was nicely told, and for someone who didn't read comics, it's easy to understand history of Kal-El and his people, what is the source of his powers, and etc. For example, my sister thought that all Kryptonians have superpowers everywhere, but knows she knows that's not true.
Fights are awesome too. There is no too much characters devolpment, but this is action movie about superheroes and superpowers.

Movies about Batman became a lot better with Dark Knight triology. Sentence also stands for Superman and Man of Steel.
