I wouldnt bring porn into this though...Rape was more common when porn didnt even exist. Also most people who watch porn don't end up being rapists. Also you can blame the girls participating in porn just as well as men.

If you ask me, the way I see it, is that the so called "animals" by us "Humans" are more civilized than us, because they at-least are following the law of nature obediently. Well I happen to live in the country which became pathetic when the invasion of Mughals and Brits started. Pathetic in the sense of "treating Girls and Women". The "Parda Pratha" [ Women covering their entire face] actually didn't exist before the invasion but to save the girls and women from getting raped from invaders it was started, resulting to the point where they were banned to even go to schools. Thankfully it is again very good when compared to that time and will hopefully reach to the greatness it was in before the invasions.
Do you know How surprised I got when I learned that women in ancient India were given the respect of Goddess and actually have the full right to marry whosoever they want, had the right to education and some even surpassed the men in wisdom, well even now that's the case ?? The only privilege they didn't have was the right to participate in Wars, as Men were not allowed to actually use their weapons against them, so if a woman were to fight, well she will survive anyway, and people in those times were very concerned about their honor. Though in some historical texts they did fought magnificently.

That's dumb logic, 'cause if that were to be the case I would be the biggest rapist out there, and I mean it literally. It all comes down to self control and mentality, nothing more or less. Even if a naked girl were to walk beside me, I wouldn't just rape her. Will I get aroused? Sure, otherwise I should be questioning my sexuality but rape her? Nope.

We also give women equal rights, they were given equal rights in a time where women were buried alive and slaughtered by fathers as they were not deemed of worthy and superior ***'s, and cover them up as to protect their chasity (it's upto the women to follow that tradition) in the 7th century, women were allowed to participate in wars in the Muslim religion, but right now, it's not permitted.
