[Question] Makarov, Gildarts , Jellal vs Dragon

Honestly it seems that these dragons are unbeatable. Without any dragon slayers there wouldn't be any hope. So it has me thinking. What if somehow Makarov , gildarts and jellal ended up being cornered and a fight of survival broke out against a dragon. Not just any super strong dragon but a fairly new grown dragon. I would be upset to see them lose but even watchin mirajane buffed by magic of litte magic girl and not phase the dragon sucked.

what do u think would happen?

i think .. they would die. hiro's painting the picture that only a dragon slayer can defeat a dragon. doesn't seem to be any other methods. guilds have attacked simultaneously to no avail. its a bit much imo.

Gildarts would be interesting, the rest haven't proven much against dragons.

Yea but he fought Acnologia, all the dragons combined right now couldn't defeat Acnologia. It would be interesting to see if that thing will ever lose to anyone, seems like Acnologia is immortal imo. Doubt Fairy Law will do much in a fight with Dragons, and I'm pretty sure only dragon slayer magic works against them, hence why Fairy law is ineffective.

Well gildarts took on the strongest dragon and lived. He didn't defeat him of course but still. I think with makarov being able to grow the height of the dragons, gildarts top tier powers, and jellal's support would lead to a victory

Gildarts fought acnologia, the king of all dragons. in comparison these dragons are nothing. If gildarts were there hed be able to defeat one of them by himself.
