[Theory] MAJOR Plot Twist! - Naruto vs Sasuke

Note that this is nothing more than a theory, or an idea from my side. If you have plans on ranging on about either me or the theory, then don't bother reading it. However, if you plan on having a mature and civilized discussion about how I am wrong or correct, then post away! This theory is also not bullet proof and was just something I came up when I was discussing with a friend of mine. Now, lets get started!

1. In the end, corruption will take you, NARUTO!
The title of this section may blow you a little off, but I assure you I am 100% serious when I say it. This section will be short and will briefly explain the basis of this theory and then I will jump into details with you all. We all know that the final battle between Sasuke and Naruto will happen one way or another, but right now it doesn't look like it. So something has to happen to put them up against each other. This should also be a plot twist to keep things interesting, and thus I made this theory. As of the latest chapters we know that Kaguya is infact alive, at least spiritually speaking. She was able to talk with Madara, and she may be able to affect the world in other ways to. Now, after Madara's defeat I think that Kaguya will either corrupt or take control over Naruto's body. I'll explain from the start.

2. The Two Brothers, Solid and Fragile.
I made a theory a little while back that the Juubi Hagoromo and his brother fought was infact Kaguya, their mother. I won't bother going into detail of this old theory for this one though. The main point is this, if Kaguya was the Juubi at the time then she may have persuaded Hagoromo's brother into joining her. If she did this then that may have led to a battle between the two brothers, Hagoromo, the one who holds the visual prowess and Yin while his brother held the body and Yang. Hagoromo managed to defeat his brother without killing him, and then collapsed from the injuries he sustained. His brother then awoke again and saw Hagoromo laying there. He then resulted in honoring his brother for not killing him by defeating a weaken Juubi (By Hagoromo) and sealing it within Hagoromo. Giving his life doing so and saving Hagoromo's life. This may be why Hagoromo didn't go into detail of the fight, he didn't really know what happen to him in the end other than his brother dying and the Juubi being sealed within himself.

3. Witch from the past, Naruto's corruption!
If what I said eariler is possible, then Kaguya may corrupt or take control over Naruto's body in a final try to do her own version of the Tsuki no Me plan to cast the world into a mindless peace. The reason I say that she would possess Naruto and not Sasuke is simple. Kaguya already have the visual prowess needed to cast the Genjutsu, but she lacks the physical part to do it. Naruto is the strongest physical and Yang of the two main stars so it fits. Also, when you think about what Naruto commented in the past. He said that himself and Sasuke could easily have been in each other's shoes and that Naruto may have turned out like Sasuke and the other way around. He also said that he wouldn't kill Sasuke and that they would die together on the battlefield if they ever fought.

Now why would this make sense from a plot perspective? Well it gives Sasuke the option to redeem himself by saving Naruto from Kaguya and it also gives him a chance to show that he is nothing alike Madara. I think that Sasuke will battle a corrupt Naruto which is controlled by Kaguya. Sasuke will defeat Naruto without killing him, while Sasuke will also collapse on the battlefield with Naruto. Leaving the match in a draw, Naruto will wake up not knowing what has happen and will do whatever he can to save Sasuke.

Though I don't have any more than that, and this is simply a theory so all I have to back it up with its logic, a creative mind and random ideas.

Enough Proof!

I think it will end in Sasuke dying,And Then Naruto realizing what he did.
causing Kaguya to Leave his Body.
And In a 1v1 Vs kaguya,Naruto wins.

As much as something like that is possible with Kishi being the troll he is....I don't think Kishi would go that insanely far with Kaguya. That's borderline overkill.

Well he is one of the main stars after all, but the final battle will still be with Naruto. Naruto is the main character, though Sasuke is also a main character. Naruto's main goal is Sasuke's hatred, and through a method like this he may get rid of it.

Both Naruto's and Sasuke's will are equally strong. One has the will of love, the other has the will of hatred. Kaguya is the origin of the will of hatred, her will to win has gone over every generation of Shinobi's. Its highly possible that her will surpasses Naruto's in many ways.

And it will, I never stated how Naruto will be beaten if he is possessed by Kaguya. She would have problem battling Naruto's will and Sasuke at the same time. Which is why she would lose. The will of love and the will of hatred are equally strong.

Oh this is how you meant it. Well it could be possible, but I just don't see it coming, like, the main character is just going to be taken over? It might be a good plot twist but I don't see it coming, possible tho.
But why isn't she controlling Madara right now?

Because there is no need to control Madara. She has shown that she is able to help him however, as she did give him the tip to absorb the Shinju. The reason she hasn't taken control him is because it must carry some risk to her for trying to do that, and Madara is already working towards the same goal as her. So there really isn't any need to take the said risks to control Madara.

Not at all actually. I actually would love for this scenario to play out. It would be an awsome and unexpected plot twist which this manga is sorely in need of. Sasuke would be the only one capable of stopping a Kaguya possessed Naruto. As the OP said it would allow him to redeem himself in the eyes of the rest of the shinboi world and bring some honor back to the Uchiha Clan.

I don't think Kishi will do this though as all of his plot twists and reveals are mired in foreshadowing so the story is somewhat linear and pridictable. But if he did this it would:

1)Give us the Naruto VS Sasuke fight we've all been dying to see

2) A return to the Sasuke of old

3) Actually allow Sasuke some credit to actually being eligable of becoming the Hokage.

Their final true battle should be over who becomes Hokage in the end though.

Also, what of Sakura, as the main Heroine she should play some role in these events as well. I know everyone says she is usless and all but maybe she should be the one to either heal Naruto when all is said and done or more importantly put a stop to Infinite Tukuyomi. At least then she could redeem her own character somewhat.

Well, you are free to your own opinion. I am simply stating my opinion, views and ideas. It may create new and better ideas and theories in the future, or it may turn out to be true. Or perhaps it'll turn out to be completely wrong, who knows. Let's wait and see, but its always fun to come up with new ideas!

I don't think so, it's nice twist/theory though, the reason why i think not is 2 reasons one naruto is the main character and two remember back when naruto was training with bee at the water fall ,naruto faced his darker half and won , after that he pretty much sealed off evil and hatred from ever coimg into his heart

Also, what of Sakura, as the main Heroine she should play some role in these events as well. I know everyone says she is usless and all but maybe she should be the one to either heal Naruto when all is said and done or more importantly put a stop to Infinite Tukuyomi. At least then she could redeem her own character somewhat.

A possible way things may play out is that Kaguya or Madara may activate their plan and the Genjutsu while Sakura is still in the Kamui World, she will somehow return to the real world with a new power up. This new power up along with her already amazing chakra control may allow her to resist the Genjutsu for some time, during this time she will stop the Genjutsu and waking Sasuke and Naruto again. ( Which then may lead to the final battle this thread was originally about. )

No, he accepted the hatred and evil that existed within himself and got rid of it once and for all. However, if he were to be possessed by Kaguya then it would be hatred and evil coming from an outside source. Much like Senjutsu. Naruto's will and heart will never change, but that is not enough to stop him from losing control over his body.

If anyone's going to be manipulated its sasuke, while he is a smart tactician and skilled shinobi. His emotions are still quite childish, he's proven this a lot in the past, while it would be a really incredible twist for naruto to get manipulated (which would actually be interesting), it is highly unlikely.
