Will be Sasuke after watching Kishi interview at Festa Jump 2012 it is clear that so much more is going to be revealed about saskue.. I always figured if Naruto was the Sage Reborn ( New surpassing the old ) than Saskue who was a baby by naruto's side must be something powerful as well.. ( Naruto's mom & Saskues Mom were friend )

Kishi said he is going to reveal much more behind Saskue than we would have ever imagined!! Now I can see why Itachi protect his brother & now we will see why Orochimaru,Kabuto & Tobi is so interested in Saskue!! Kishi has something big to reveal about Saskue!!! Will be epic!!

I dont understand ur logic? All he said he will reveal more sasuke in 2012. How does that mean main villain all of the sudden.

The point of the story is madara and tobi trying to become the so6p. Where there ancestor the older son didnt succeed.

Sasuke would make a horrible main villain he has no backstory, just a damaged child from bad polotics.

Now madara and tobi, they have a backstory one that started the series madara vs hasihrama and it would end with them. Its their plan from many years ago.


Sasuke has no plans other than kill konoha which no more complicated than a cheap action action film villain.

Sorry but gotta tell it like it is. Too many lengends sacrficed themselves like minato for a greater evil master mind.

I gotta agree, at the moment, Sasuke is just an instrument of Tobi's like Haku was of Zabuza to bring this thing full circle for the moment. If the poster meant main antagonist in terms of action, that's possible, but should've clarified it because that's a large distinction. At least Nagato put some independent thought into things despite being manipulated, Sasuke, atm, is sort point and shoot like a shuriken, lol...

yet who knows if he's developed while being in the darkness of the caves while his EMS settled in. He had to think about something, and I hope it was more than "Don't make me angry... arggh *Sasuke's EMS turns green.*...must smash Konoha, Naruto..." lol

P.S. I would appreciate it if Kishi would return Sasuke back to his rational thinking days, he was so much cooler then. I loved how he would just break down an opponent's failed set of jutsu in their face right before finishing them, that's was so entertaining, personally. Take Gaara and the Mizukage Edo, recently, that's what I'm talking about.

Yeah.. It's time Sasuke's character developes somewhat. He is getting powered up but his growth as a character is even more stunted than Sakura at times- He has turned into a single dimentional character to an extent.

Sasuke doesn't even have enough power to be main villain. EMS or Rinnegan won't make him stronger than Naruto. If he suddenly gets a power up from nothing (hatred) it's just going to be another ass pull from Kishimoto. Great way to troll the manga, as if it wasn't trolled enough.

Here's the problem in a nutshell: Naruto has the fox and Sasuke doesn't. If those two are ever going to compete together on the same level, Sasuke is going to need major unbelievable powerups.

Every time Naruto powers up, Sasuke has to power up too or there won't be a conflict. If Naruto vs Sasuke is going to be the final fight of the manga, and if we want it to be interesting at all, Sasuke needs to have enough power to stand up to Naruto's tailed beast chakra and various techniques. The problem with Naruto is that he's too good, too smart, and has too many powerups available. He has Sage mode, he has Kyuubi mode, he has rasengan and rasenshuriken. Assuming we have at least a few more months of manga, what powerups does Naruto get next? Full control over the fox and tailed beast transformation? Flying Thunder God? Something even better than these? What is Sasuke going to need to have if he wants to keep up with that?

It's an arms race. The two have to keep getting more powerful because they both need to make it to the final battle.

i believe sasuke is actually a good guy. i think when Tobi told Sasuke the truth about Itachi, maybe sasuke had a immediate change of heart and decided to work to destroy Tobi cuz he helped kill the clan. i still think he wants to fight Naruto, but he wont actually try to kill him or he will help naruto bring Tobi down.

but they have been even for may parts of the manga only because naruto wasnt using the fox effectively in their battles. Naruto couldnt actually his body when he was younger made it difficult to use effecttively like he is now in the war and there's still more to come.

Sasuke more less hasnt experencied fight naruto when using his fox mode effectively. there last fight was at the valley of the end and sasuke needed the cure seal to combat one tail fox mode. Now he hasnt got curse seal so that means no chakra booast for him.

MS and EMS increase number of techniques but in terms of power increases relating to his body they dont. So it would come down to well he can his powerful techs.

Naruto hasnt even finshed his powerup pain train.

Naruto using the fox is something we been waiting for long before sasuke got intrested in fighting Naruto and declared him a rival.

Remember guys the fox wasnt meant to be used against Sasuke, Minato's reason were for a far greater evil.

I dont even think it safe to assume naruto will fight sasuke.

It occured to me this whole hadred thing started when the so6p' sons fought. Then madara fought hasihrama, so it would make sense that naruto would refuse to repeat this cycle as hes tryong to bring about peace and all.

Well madara tried to gain control of the fox again but couldnt due to the seal on naruto.

i dont believe what u just said at all lol naruto isnt too smart for 1 he's proved that many times also the sharingan can control kyubi and that without mangekyo also sasuke loads of powers aswell also is smarter then naruto and has unlimited sharingan powers now!

People tend to forget one thing.
Sharingan = mastery over Kyuubi.

Sasuke might be a noob compared to tobi or madara, but its possible he could also control it, or block it off.

Besides, why would the kyuubi be a problem?

Kisame handled the hachibi and other jinchuuriki with relative ease.
