Well, I don't think anyone lately has seen someone fret over the concept of magic to the point that they want to pull out their torches and pitchforks like back in the olden days.
My opinion, people often fear things they don't understand. Historically, magic has been associated with anything foreign, mysterious, and just plain strange or out of the ordinary. And when society was confronted with this so called "magic", society fought back. Need a historical example, look at the Salem Witch Trials, looking at it today, we see that people were trying to deal with something they didn't understand and associated it with magic, and it came with terrible consequences.
This is just something my mind thought upon with considering this question, just an opinion.
Well, religions like Christianity and Islam forbid magic because it's believed to come from the devil (not too sure about Christianity). In Islam, it is believed that magic was placed on Earth, simply as a test of faith to see if you would avoid it.I dont what i beileve in anymore
i don't see how magic is the work of Lucifer but apparent God condemns witchcraft, although i believe in God i don't agree with everything he says and does in Fact i would even say that God is't perfect and that he is just as flawed as us Human Beings. My question is how come humans consider magic taboo, some say its the work of the devil and if you perform magic you'll end up in hel.
