one flaw madrara clearly stats that he didnt awaken rinnigan untill after he reached old age/ near death. and also stats that it was at that time he discovered about the gedo mazo. so therefore he tried it before, maybe even did it. say if his ms power is inf. ?tuskomi? (h.e its spelled) inf meaning it never wears off, meaning that (as in hashi's case) the person belived that everything that happened , for how ever long it happened, really happened. (i heard a theory were obito is victim of this as well, in this theory whenever the moon is shown on its own panel its activated, i believe its in hottest threads) with this in mind it would seem logical that madrara tried to cast it on the moon, and failed, he then got really old, and awakened the rinniegan, and after discovering its powers he lreaned to summon the gedo mazo, and then came the moon eyes plan, with the gathering of the beasts.

exactly this ^ and for how long? till hashi died.

Not to mention that Hashi was vulnerable during that time because he was exhausted and injured

Another thing i want to comment ist, you said

Its Hashis version, he actually doesnt know if Madara was surprized or not. In reality Madara may have smiled since his plan worked out

So that RIN-Kakashi scene could either be an Illusion casted upon Obito or a Zetsu Clone? can anyone refresh me which manga chapters cover the Kakashi-Obito child hood days.
