I think it's all forshadowing. I'm glad to see other ppl understand concepts like this. That's Awesome. Based on this foreshadowing and other stylistic clues, Tobi is not this Madara.

thanks ^_^. well according to this theory Tobi is the real madara but with Obito's eye to replace the damaged eye from the picture or Izanagi.

but I want to emphasize its all speculation at this point and I'm not trying to rpesent it as fact. its just a colaboration of the information we have along with other fan theorys that ties up all the loose ends and plotholes in the story

I was amazed when I saw this. I thought many things at the begining like he had no EMS back then ect. It's amazing how u could see this when u were reading it.

It was an accident that I noticed it. I just remembered that pic being epic so I wanted to revisit, then I noticed the Eye bleeding and started thinking about it. But thanks for the props. I appreciate it ^_^

I'm just thinking, didn't Obito say his entire right side was crushed, and that includes his right eye?, how would Madara have used it after that. And even if he was able to take it from him, then why not just kill Obito just before Kakashi arrived, and steal both of his eyes?

Maybe just his bones. eyeballs are soft so It may have been pushed back into his skull.... poor obito. He may have heard a ruckus and strolled by later to find the after math.

actually if you go back and read it he says..."The right side of my body is almost smashed. There is no feeling in it...."

It could be another eye entirely.

From 510 it seems as if Madara's eye are still his own (with no translpants)

I just found the similarities between kakashi's MS technique and madara's teleport technique very similar.

And 510 confirms that He has the ability to use Izanagi (whatever the spelling is), which is most likely how he lived through his encounter with Hashirama

Madara gave us a run down of the Izanagi right. We now know why he keeps his stockpile. He said others have had incomplete version of the technique referring to Danzo, but i actually think Madara's is incomplete as well cause his eye closed. I think only the Rinnegan can use the complete Inzanagi. The Inzanagi technique used by the sharingan only affects personal reality.....Does this mean the Byakugan might have the ability to affect someone elses reality? Seeing as they both come from the Rinnegan. Just a thought....

Maybe, just maybe!!!! He can use Izinagi with some sort of cooldown?!
==> Maybe his eye will find light again sometime in the futur.
My theory behind this would be that he used Izinagi against the first hokage, sacrificing his left eye. Then put on a Mask so that this eye stays in the dark to be better able to find light when he exposes it to light? And it took him all that time to recover from the fight against Hashimara?!
