You make a good point OP. It's possible that Sasuke "can" surpass Madara but that is not to say he will. It's canon that Madara was born with a unique chakra as you said. However, when the Kyuubi first met Sasuke he stated that his chakra was comparable to Madara's. Not in size but "type." The quality of their chakra could have something to do with their hatred.

I think its stupid to say sasuke will never be better than madara, i mean of course madara and hashirama are G.O.A.T but the manga is all about the young surpassing the old especially this war, madara has peaked but sasuke hasnt simple as that.

and another point ppl are arguing how great madaras chakra levels are but we have only seen edo madara and it was obito who said his chakra was soo great, point being you cant really say what madaras levels were because we never saw(better than everyone else doesnt quite pinpoint where his level was at, sasuke has the highest chakara levels of any living uchiha but thats not saying much as the rest are dead),if sasuke has ems at 16 and madara had ems a later in his life imo its safe to assume that if sasuke lives to see his 30s or even 20s he will surpass madara, and if sasuke somehow gains rinnegan as he is now ill bey evrything he surpasses madara.

Your post became nonsense the moment you used that idiot phrase that has been used by other on NB as if the manga in itself hasn't disproved it.The whole younger generations surpassing the old is nonsense the moment we saw the previosu kages, Third Raikage, 2nd Mizukage, and Muu all being superior to the current kages.Maybe, the younger generation of shinobis will get surpasses the former generation but it will take some major Deus ex machina on kishi part to ever have anyone from the current generation surpass someone like Hashirama.

Madara - was able to battle for a 24 hours with his EMS passively active and with Susano activated most of the time. He also had to put up with controlling the Kyuubi with his EMS whilst using a layer of Susano to act as a protective coat.

Sasuke - Fights Danzo for half an hour and is already on the verge of death due to exhaustion.

Having lots of chakra doesn't make you automatically powerful; for example - Genin Naruto had more chakra than Kakashi but was he stronger? No.

Genin(part 1, because he's still a genin...More like a sage, but whatever...he probably has his own title now) Naruto just had more stamina than Kakashi.
He couldn't produce more chakra than Kakashi, though...
He sucked at producing chakra.

And more chakra = more power. Because that's what power is...
But even if Naruto could produce more chakra(and use more chakra to individual techniques without wasting) than Kakashi in part 1, Kakashi was more much more skilled, intelligent and experienced.

Power is one thing. The Ichibi, for instance, is more powerful than Jiraiya.
But is it better? Is it stronger, considering everything both have to offer?
Jiraiya is a better fighter. That's why he'd win.
You could have an insane power and yet not control it very well...

Kyuubi was talking about Sasuke's chakra being sinister. Not something related to quantity of chakra.
How could you say: "Your chakra is bigger than mine"?
It makes no sense.
You produce chakra.
You don't have a chakra reserve like people are talking. You have stamina(which is physical/spiritual energy).
