Madara Was the Tobi Who Fought Minato Using Obito's Eye

So Madara somehow got young again and went to Konoha,.despite not being able to sever himself from Mazou due to it being fatal to do such a thing? Seems legit.

Plus... Why would Madara have his hair normal lenth (long) while controlling the Mizukage, then CUT HIS HAIR (to look like Obito) while fighting Minato... then grow it out AGAIN to look like his normal long lenth while meeting with Itachi?!?

You all make good points, but for one thing: If Madara can't leave his cave, then how does Obito? Madara said that neither can leave, but Obito apparently did.

Just a side-note; I don't think it's Madara because he could fight Minato. I think it's Madara because he can control the Nine-Tails He also extracted it in a few minutes, that'd take serious skill.

If it can make Obito age quicker, it could also give Madara a fresh younger body with nice shiny black hair.
Hey, maybe that's it; Zetsu fought Minato with Obito's eye. I don't really believe that but it's very slightly possible.

We know that Obito is part Zetsu, and if Zetsu could speed up age progress it means it could change the human body. If it could that then Madara could just have made him young again. Which is probably didn't. My guess is that Madara used Senju DNA to fuse Obito's and Madaras body together to make the 2 broken bodies into 1 perfect body. Combining a old body with a young could reserve the age progress of a body backwards and make the body around a younger age. The reason Madara didnt do this on himself so that he would live and Obito would die is probably because he wanted to be revived stronger later... :3 Just a theory... :3

Dude, I'm with you on that. That's one thing that kind of bothers me about Tobi being Obito. However, Kishi portrays these two forms of Tobi for a reason. If it was a mistake, it would have been changed. Maybe the long haired Tobi hasn't been revealed yet.

Madara said both can't leave that place with their current bodys, that means Obito could not leave in the state he was in, now pay attention to page 15, the Zetsu on the right looks more like a Zetsu-Suit to me (there is a hole on the left arm side and probably also for the legs as well). Obito is using that Zetsu-Suit = Tobi.

That explains these things

His height:
- He was about the same height as Minato, pretty much adult size, Zetsus are adult size.

Loosing his arms: (LEFT is Obitos "human" side, RIGHT is the one that got pretty much replaced with "Hashirama's DNA").
- First arm injury: His LEFT arm dripped off when Minato hit him with a Rasengan, Zetsu Goo AND blood came out of that sleeve = Obitos left side = Human.
- Second arm inury: He ripped his RIGHT arm off after it got infected by Torune, that was just Zetsu Goo = Obitos right side = Hashirama DNA.
- Third arm injury: He lost his RIGHT arm against Konan, it was also just Zetsu Goo = Obitos right side = Hashirama DNA.

Why his Sharingan is activated all the time:
- His right side got replaced with Hashirama DNA thus his Sharingan can't be deactivated hence it's not an Uchiha body on that side where his Sharingan is.

There you go, simple and easy no overthinking needed.

No, the hair does not match up. Madara's at that point was white and long. Obito had his shorter like before.

That was another reason why I thought Tobi was Obito, because of the hair.

You make a very valid point, Minato was obitos teacher so if it was obito, I don't see how he could be surprised how fast Minato was.... He would have seen it plenty enough to have an idea how fast he was...but we will find out soon enough

I still think it was Obito but I'll give you one hint. Madara tells Obito that they both cant leave this place with their BODIES, this opens open other possibilities.

That panel was just to show Obito's arm regenerating, and when he Madara said you he meant Obito.

If you mean right side of his body does it mean that the head was included? so obito half head was zetsu?

If obito's sharingan can't be de-activated then what did obito did to his eyes when he was talking to sasuke?did he close his eyes? remember sasuke after he fought itachi and when he woke-up he saw obito's sharingan and amaterasu fired to obito.
