Madara was the best villain, just wasn't handled well

Kishimoto created the best villain for the war arc, but he just handled him very poorly. If he had been handled with the quality of Part 1 Orochimaru and Pain (before tnj) he would have made history, but alas he was handled poorly and his potential wasted. Tbh Kaguya also had potential for making a titanic fight for the records, but the ball was dropped on that as well...

Honestly his background hasn't interested me much, I prefer Obito's anyday. But he was badass, he should've been handled better than BZ crap. I would've preferred Naruto/Sasuke to weaken him before Kaguya take over, not him losing control while he was at his strongest.

Pain was amazing no doubt, as were most Naruto villains, I just think Madara had the most potential, but like I said he was handled poorly after his entrance.

This thread is obviously wrong. Madara was a massive batty boy,prolonged an already finished war which bored a lot of us, and was a cliched villain to the zenith. Every character has potential, and most could have been done better, but that's irrelevant in the grand scheme of things, isn't it?

Madara was nothing special, pretty boring because he had nothing to do with the current time. Nobody had feelings for him. I never understood why he didn't pick Sasuke as the final villain. This would have had much more impact on everything, the drama would have been on for Naruto and the others. Kishi's just a bad writer, he rushed and f'd up the last arc really bad.

to be honest i didnt care for him much. mostly bc i didnt really sympathize with him due to lack of flashbacks from his point of view. i prefer the underdog like obito. mads was a cool anti jaraiya and gave us a good show. thats it.

at the end he looks pathetic, his plan was fulfilled by biting hashi, faking his death, sitting in a cave for 60 years and using kids. it was funny lol
