Add in the rest of the Sannin abilities like Summons (Toads,Snakes, Slugs) and such and I think they can pretty much handle a non-rinnegan madara.

Apart from that I'd love to see Tsunade approaching Susanoo without beeing crushed.

If it wasn't for Edo Tensei, Madara would win without that much trouble. Apart from his strengthened Susanoo and Amaterasu, that could both be used pretty often due to his eternal Mangekyou and strong Chakra reserves, Madara can summon and controll Kyuubi after all. Unfortunately the same goes for Hashirama, and since Madara didn't show any sealing techniques yet Edo Tensei would be his death.

Simple Logic :

Hanzo >= Sanins w/out SM and Immortality

Rinnegan + Paths > Hanzo

Rinneagn + Paths > EMS Madara

but Sanins with SM and Immortality > Rinnegan + Paths

therefore

Sanins > EMS Madara.

Sannin because madara doesn't have rinnegan and orochimaru knows how to use edo tensei, Jiraiya can use sage mode and tsunade can heal them both if they get hurt hell orochimaru and J-man take this with mid difficulty.

Madara without rinnegan is a lot less scary. Kabuto also stated that he was much stronger as an edo than in his prime. Meanwhile Sannin have plenty of enormous summons, the worlds best healer, edo tensai that includes the guy who beat madara, frog genjutsu, sage mode, oro's giant hydra move, and are all 3 extremely hard to kill. Without rinnegan, i can only see fanboys voting for madara, unless the kyubbi is involved in this.
