Since you didn't specify which version of Madara this is, I automatically assume it is Rikudo Madara who stomps for obvious reasons.

Just joking but does Jiraiya start in sage mode? If not I don't think he'll get to sage mode but with sage mode, Jiraiya should win with mid-high difficulty.

Yes, but Naruto's SM was superior to Jiraiya's. Jiraiya didn't have frog kata nor sensing like Naruto had. Sensing has been shown to give people better reactions as opposed to non sensors.

Plus SM Naruto in the war was way better than SM Naruto vs Pein. Just my two cents.

databook disagrees. Jiraya is specifically listed as frog kata user and sensing.

In fact it says you automatically gain command of the terrifying taijutsu, the moment you learn senjutsu.

also sm naruto in the war arc, still can't maintain sm longer than jiraya can. plus jiraya is more verstaile and has a much larger array of techniques

When someone learns Senjutsu they gain command of a terrifying Taijutsu. Basically in Sennin Modo by collecting natural energy they gain danger sensing powers (what Naruto uses to evade Sandaime Raikages attack, Kabuto to sense Amaterasu, etc..). They can sense the enemies movement, match enemies rhythm/speed, to release a severe counter. Energy is released from one part of the body, the attacks reach is extended (i think, little bit confusing here). There is no chink (or weak spot) in offense and defense, it's a flawless Taijutsu.

Naruto had perfect Sage Mode but his arsenal, general battle skill and battle experience paled in front of Jiraiya.

Frog Kata is not just increased range, it's the collective term for the physical increases. Which Jiraiya certainly had, considering he was able to kick the Human Path all those metres and create a considerable impact and throw back the giant ox, breaking it's horn in the process.

SM Naruto's main jump in the war arc concerns his chakra levels and his ability to stay in SM for longer, that's about it. Jiraiya still had 30-40 years more experience. Without Susano'o, Madara's chances of winning dwindle.
