If he had to fight Madara himself he would and there would be no reason in fighting Sasuke if he had killed Madara.....just an assumption

itachi is a genius ...for me he was top 5 greatest ninjas in konoha...he took down orochimaru with only one look well madara nowdays can't do nothing against him but madara with EMS still can't beat him cuz itachis mangekyo had so incredible powers the only problem is that itachi goes blind and madara not !

I think madara would win But he wouldent really risk fighting itachi because he would be injured or killed

If he had killed Madara there was no need to give Sasuke MS coz he wants to give SSK MS to finish or atleast stand before Madara........No offence, If Itachi COULD kill Madara he WOULD have killed him but he couldn't and Madara said "If Itachi knew everything about me I'd be dead by now.....".
