Hashirama won but he also had Mito Uzumaki there with him. I think in a dead out battle one on one Madara would win.

Well you are only partially correct. He had EMS during that fight, he got the rinnegan afterwards.

But he also gained Hashirama's powers.
So in essence the current Madara = Hashirama + EMS Madara + Nagato.

Any who think Hashirama can beat himself plus EMS Madara plus Nagato is just insane. Hashirama is so overrated.
