madara vs hashirama question

couldnt he have used izanami the same tech itachi used on sage mode kabuto. or use something like uchiha kaejin. or maybe even use izanagi. if youve been fighting hashirama ur whole life you know what it takes to kill him. he should know to beat him a price must be paid or he'll lose. if nothing else he shouldve realized that when hashi summoned a hindu god that he's going to have to sacrafice an eye lmao.


unless he has a summon on par with that hashi hindu god. which at this point wouldnt surprise me especially when it comes those two. he could summon a hand from the gates of hell and i wouldnt even bat an eyelash xD

he would need a lot of prep time to activate izanami...sth hashirama clearly wouldnt give him....and madara`s izanagi would only last for some seconds unlike danzo and obito`s

Hashirama's soul was pure compared to kabutos and thus izanami wouldn't work. If he sacrificed 1 eye his susanoo would also disappear.

The battle is not over, so he very well might in later chapters, however; only the use of Izanagi would make sense as Izanami was designed for those of corrupted mentality, furthermore Hashirama has shown to be a master of genjutsu, it would be foolish to sacrifice an eye on a jutsu that is not a sure thing, also consider that according to Obito, Izanagi requires Senju DNA to use effectively, Madara did not acquire that until after the battle.shodaimeicon:
