why can't Madara fans just except he lost the fight? He didn't need genjutsu. For all tense and purposes he lost the fight. If anything, Hashirama should have been more thorough in making sure Madara was dead. He obviously survived the wound.

Man yo guys act like if Madara lost to Hashi this somehow makes him weak or something. Other than Hashirama, no other Shinobi is on par with Madara. and Edo Madara is even stronger then before.

What more do you guys want? He is a freaking beast currently and you can't except that he lost one fight? Seriously guys...

Its not Madara fans, its stupid people. Im a huge Madara fan and dont care too much for Hashi but the manga has clearly stated Hashi > Madara many times. Anyone who cant accept that is beyond retarded.

Well Genjutsu is mentally
If he had actually cast the genjutsu how come he has a scar of the wound when he got stabbed?
It's highly likely. We don't mean to underestimate him he's still #2 just weaker than the First.

There is no point in casting a genjutsu when his aim wasn't to avoid the attack, also, the hashirama he had eye contact with was a clone. Genjutsu is ineffective on clones. The databook states that he decieved Hashirama and it is apparently by naturally faking his death; a common form of deception. The use of Genjutsu at that point is almost non-existent given certain circumstances.
Wrong, Hashirama was not fighting the battle to kill Madara, till the end ;]. So "demolish" the remains .... uh no. lol.

I'm not underestimating Madara.... I'm saying Madara survived through pure will....

Also, Hashirama is the understimated one.. lol.

Shodai's of victory during that fight due to the of his opponent and the fact that he went to the extents of Shin-Shuusenju (which was bested) only attests to the fact that he was likewise giving his all. Being the stronger of the two is what gave him victory.

He had the EMs while he was fighting Hashirama since he summoned PS..... And also, if he used genjutsu from that start.... then you think Hashirama wouldn't have known?? Yet people like Kakashi can tell a genjutsu apart.. but the guy who can break a room with his chakra can't?
I added more btw lol, but is that really your argument? Itachi has already shown us that that is more than possible. Also look at the post above mine, THAT looks like eye contact to me.
Thats all i needed...

Also, that above scan.. was in the middle of their fight... and this is where your underrating the First Hokage.

hmm.. he wasn't showing off.... read on after what he said..with CONFIDENCE

If Madara did use genjutsu on Hashirama it was to make it seem like Hashirama struck a fatal blow when he did not. It wouldn't be a complete illusion with Madara being unscathed. In your scans, Hashirama stabs Madara in the middle of his body, piercing his spine. When Madara's Hashi face is shown, it is slightly to the left of that wound. Madara was hit with a critical strike, but not enough to kill him on the spot as would have if Hashirama's strike was true to where he was aiming.

There are a few reasons why Madara would have accepted the lose with such critical damage.

1. He needed Hashirama and the world to think he was dead so he could move in the shadows for his Infinite Tsukuyomi plan
2. He needed to actually take near fatal damage in order to awaken the Rinnegan. He seemed to think that he would awaken the Rinnegan immediately after he implanted Hashi's cells into the wound although this wasn't the case.
3. It was a last result because he knew he couldn't leave the fight without dying so he took the alternative which was feigning death.

@bold
Prove it, oh great Kishimoto.

@underlined
What good would killing Hashirama do to help Madara on the long run? It would only get Tobirama/the ninja world on his trail forever.
His mission is world peace.

illogical argument. the ninja world was already on his trail. if he was so great he should have killed hashi under genjutsu. failing to do this would be the equivalent of mma fighter running away while his opponent is dizzy! in a fight you do what ever u need to win.

If you look at Hashirama's fact its right on top the wound bro. Personally, Madara survived through pure will nothing more mate.

the reasons:

- He could've done it even after killing Hashirama
- The wound has no connection to the rinnegan however.
- could be a possible result, but the indications of that are highly unlike, but "feign" won't be due to a genjutsu

Le Op's credibility:

Lol

Look at what you stated.... lmao.

And also, you reffered to the scan that showed Madara's EMS as your evidence.. Which i already countered in my post

"How can he caste a genjutsu on someone he had no eye contact with on his death. o-o"

That was the reply to your original post on the thread ^^^^^ you did not prove that he made eye contact during his death.
