A requires much less chakra than the new level of Susano'o he was just trying to access. The chakra he had was not sufficient to keep it up, and needed up costing him some of his sight.

So you believe ribcage susano'o has no effect on eyesight because it takes little chakra...?

Let's just get this out there. After Madara was revived via Rinne Tensei (and probably some time before that) this manga stopped taking place in an intricate world full of small details and a very well explained science behind every little technique and all feats/limitations went out the window. Everyone had unlimited chakra for like the last 20 chapters and anyone could use any technique without any practice at all and there was no need to forgo any actual medical procedure to just pluck someone else's eye out and pop it in your own eye ball because ASSPULL mode was turned on.

It does, but since it doesn't require much, less strain is put on the eyes. You'd go blind far faster using a Perfect Susano'o continuously then the ribcage.

His brain produces the special chakra needed to use the technique. If experienced enough, it wouldn't have to be outputted through the eyes because it does not require eye contact. If Kishimoto thought it wasn't reasonable, he wouldn't have wrote the story out that way.

Nope. Sasuke said only those who can use the power of MS can use this power. That doesn't mean it comes from eye- but rather that Susanoo is a power which needs a certain level of control and ability to manifest and handle it. And this explanation only got better support when later on Madara was able to use it blind- because he already had develped the ability and practice to control MS and much more.

Suit yourself. No two people read the same manga same way even while reading the same I guess. It tires the brains faster when you are controlling to many things at the same time. I have felt physically exhausted while straining my eye for far too long so I read it differently.

Besides that, other techniques besides Susano'o don't require the special chakra once already unlocked. Kakashi could use Kamui without an Uchiha brain. He was able to again in the fight against Kaguya because his brain/mind, which Obito entered, produced the latter's chakra.

Susano'o(No eye contact) = Once Awakened + Original Chakra
Amaterasu(Eye contact) = Once Awakened + Eye Contact

This means Amaterasu could be used by Naruto if he stole Sasuke's eyes, but Susano'o could not, because he doesn't have Sasuke's special chakra.

Just because susanoo hurts your eyes doesn't mean that you need eyes to use it. Everything hurts when using susanoo.

Eyes are not everything. Eyes are special in Naruto. Specially for the Uchiha. And for the MS users. Too much MS spam = blood in eyes= blindness

Other parts of body hurting is a side effect. Susanoo hurts eyes like other MS jutsu (tsukuyomi and amaterasu). Obvious connection
