I think someone has the same kind of obsession with Hashirama, as Sasuke with Naruto...

I wouldn't be surprised if before their final battle, they were best friends...

Also, I didn't like that sexist comment either, but I guess Kishi is not so much supporting equality... I mean, who is the strongest female character he has ever designed, Mai? Konan? Unfortunatelly, they are not even Close to the strongest male characters... U_U

If I were Kishi, I would have made at least one of the children of the SO6P to be a daughter... U_U That would also explain why they ended up with different names, wile they had the same father...

At the highlighted part + rep made me lol. Seems like madara even in the manga is rubbing people the wrong way in real life. I actually find him funny tbh and nothing more.

Extremely close, i believe so. Lets not forget that we are beginning to know hashirama's true powers, whilst we only konw that ems madara has susano. You could argue that the meteor was an ems technique since, sine he formed hanseals in conjunction with his susano.People might say it was a rennigan technique since it was activated when the technique was done, but he activated it to absorb rs. Similarly he had the rennigan on when he used mokouton and yasaka magatama and those arent rennigan techniques. Anyway hopefully we would see ems madara's powers aswell, if he was the only person at that time that was able to fight hashirama and walk away with his life several times, including the final fight also.

We did see hashirama bleeding and wounded with mito, although we arent sure if this was after the fight with madara

You make some good points, some of Madara's powers are still unclear. There's no doubt he was the only one who could come close to beating him but, I think Madara and Kakazu walked away with their lives despite losing to Hashirama based on the simple fact that Hashi preferred peace and love rather than fear and might. Meaning he wasn't interested in killing anyone in cold blood; if you didn't die while trading blows, after he defeated you, he simply showed mercy and went about his business. It's the same case with Sasuke and Naruto. Can you recall anyone Naruto has killed after he had already won the fight?

Well if physical strength carries over at all into Narutoverse then you could sort of understand him say shes weak. Women are generally physically weaker than men, biological fact, so if that sort of thing is carried over into Narutoverse, women may be seen as weaker in the Narutoverse generally to.
The shinobi elite is majorly male, with only a few females in the top ranks. So maybe Madaras has just got an old fashioned (think about how much female equality has changed in the last 80 years in the world now).
Or maybe kishi just wants us to dislike him more?
