Hashirama said he was certain that Madara die .Hashirama did not taught or assume he was death. This show that Madara use izanagi or a powerful genjutsu to trick hashirama mindMadara clearly lost the fight. However he did accomplish a goal of getting hashirama dna. Hashirama thought he was about to die clearly he thought wrong
I don't think that works like thatMadara was fodderized by Hashirama. He had no chakra left to keep the sharingan activated. He barely clung onto life until, most likely, he used the remains of the wood clone to implant in himself.
Sure, Madara could have planned all he wanted, but he failed to kill Hashirama and take his cells. Instead, he used the wood clone as an opportunity to fulfill his dream anyhow. So if anything, Hashirama bailed him out of a complete fail.
:scorps:
All that being said, yes Hashi was trolled. <__<
2. Nor he would need to use the kyubi at the risk of the losing it. It was a No-Holds-Barred Beatdown, and he lost.I don't think that works like that
2. Madara has never stated his goal was to kill madara, all we know now is he wanted cells and he did not need to kill hashirama for that
Kyuubi was collateral damage, if he went to the fight unprepared he would have died making his plan meaningless but I get this feeling that madara saw a much bigger picture than the vote fight. He lost but I don't think it mattered2. Nor he would need to use the kyubi at the risk of the losing it. It was a No-Holds-Barred Beatdown, and he lost.
