It looks like Madara noticed that the hawk had one Rinnegan eye, since he said something about nurturing a new eye. [

Madara did not talk about Sasuke’s eye since he only has EMS. Madara needs another Rinnegan.

I think that Madara needs first to kill Sasuke to be able to take the summoning. If Madara attacks the hawk, it will disappear as a summoning-animal can do. Madara needs to kill Sasuke so the contract with the summoning is broken, and then attack the summoning that is an easy prey.

Madara has one Rinnegan eye, the hawk has another one. With this Madara can now have two.

I still do not understand why the hawk has only one eye. It might have been summoned like this, or Hashirama and Sasuke might have done something with it.

Wrong, the Rinnegan ability gives the users' paths and summoning Rinnegan. Hawk doesn't even have it to begin with.

The Hawk's Eye having concentric circles has always been an ancient artistic depiction: (Just like Sasuke's Hawk in the anime)

Ah, he was stabbed in the heart actually. So this makes it even MORE painful and deadly... In my opinion, it's either a clone of sasuke (actually doubt it tho), genjutsu on the part of sasuke, or he really did actually get stabbed..

I believe he got stabbed for real, because you can tell by his facial expression, just like Naruto when Kyuubi got extracted from him last chapter... This is all real folks.. No more Obito talking about destroying everything, yada yada, I miss rin bullshit.....
