Nope. Madara stated his visual powers were able to see through Hashi's wood bushin. That means Madara knew Hashi's trick but decided to fall for it on purpose in order to obtain Hashi's DNA.

he saved his own ass.. kaguya didn't have any influence back then kaguya started to influence him the moment he connected himself to gedou mazou (containing kaguya) BZ was created while connected to gedou mazou and probably he thought of IT while connected to gedou mazou.

The difference is that in the first case he was against Hashirama while now he's against the mastermind of the masterminds. Plus, we still have to wait and see how he was saved in the first place. Personally, I think that Kaguya saved him on purpose and i have little theory abou that.

I don't see how faking another death will help him obtain her power. Then again we don't know how he survived the Hashirama fight so we can't say he faked his death. Because we don't know how he survived, we can speculate that someone under Kaguya's influence saved him. Regardless, I doubt he planned this death or whatever black zetsu is doing to him.
