Okay so I was reading the manga and I noticed that Madara does not look like an Edo Tensei but he looks like a regular human being. Those paper wrinkles are now gone.
In this picture Madara bluffs and says that anyone who sees his complete susanoo dies but that it would be ungraceful to pull it out again. Maybe he is trying to create an excuse because he knows that now he can no longer spam that technique. Also the five kages can use combination attacks to overwhelm those weaker and less chakra consuming susanoos so it is dangerous to continue fighting the kages.
Madara says that his enjoyment was ruined. Could it be because he was forced to release the Edo Tensei and can no longer toy around with the five kages and show off chakra consuming jutsus?
He also says I might as well get the kyubbi now because that will increase his chakra supplies or because it is more important to use chakra to complete the objective instead of wasting it on the kages.
What do you guys think?
PS: Don't get me the wrong way I think he can still stomp the 5 kages if he is serious as he still has a massive amount of chakra but there is also a danger of reinforcements arriving.
Bogard also said that if Madara could have always released himself why didn't he do so earlier? He is not the type who is willing to be a puppet of another. He probably had the advantage of infinite chakra which is why he chose not to release it.
