Just thinking, slowly. Seems weird that Madara has had multiple chances at getting Naruto/Kyuubi. Wondering if there is something he knows about Naruto, that he is unable to win in a battle against Naruto. He seems hell bent on Saskue fighting him. He has also told Kabuto he can have Saskue after he is done with him. I am pretty sure he needs the Kyuubi to finish his plan. Madara seems to know everyone's powers-how I do not know. So I am guessing he can't take on Naruto for some reason and needs Saskue to do it. Maybe that thread about Naruto's life energy has something to do with it.

Madara is a shell of his former-self, as stated by Itachi... However at the end of one of the Manga's he said he was going to capture the Kyuubi.
Although he went after the artefact which had Kinkaku and Ginkaku sealed in it. Nobody knows what he is planning.
Although being it Shounen Naruto will fight Madara and win, there just pro-longing to keep the series going.

My theory is that since Madara wants to be a Jinchuuriki, He needs Naruto and the Kyuubi. The only people that were able to hold the powerful chakra of the kyuubi were Uzumakis, so I think Madara needs Naruto in order to be complete.

I wonder if his Zetsu like parts will get affected the same way as those grunts by the life energy. Creepy thought.
