Now Madara is exactly like every final DBZ villian. Cell, Majin Buu, Omega Shenron, whichever you'd like to compare him to, its no longer a matter of killing him normally. No, now you've gotta destroy every last cell of his body before he dies.
I mean he's a living being.... he replaced his real arm with a zetsu arm. Now just the bit of Senju DNA in his chest is enough to fully reform half his torso? I mean most of what he lost was actual flesh. Seems like a stretch to me....
Seemingly you forget about Naruto regenerating a hole in his shoulder made by Sasuke in the battle ending part1.
If the kyuubi can regenerate its jincuuriki, its not a stretch to say the juubi can do it better.
Hashi's DNA likely has a minor role to play in this regeneration.

Filling a hole with chakra/flesh containing no vital organs and potentially no bones is a completely different story. We're talking about restoring half a torso and an arm. If this is his actual flesh, like you're implying, then I don't believe a Jin's power is capable of it.
The regeneration bares a striking resemblance to Hashi DNA regeneration, if you ask me he no longer has bones in that part of his body, its all Zetsu flesh.

why wouldn't a jin of the juubi, a god, be able to heal in that way but hashi cells would? that would make no sense what so ever. it is most definitely due to him being a jin that he survived this. also he admited that he almost died from that attack, so most likely you don't have to eradicate his body, just hit him in a place where he dies from it instantly, like his heart. i doubt he can regen a heart as he would be dead.

The attack eradicated a portion of his body that was very close to his heart. At the very least, it destroyed multiple vital organs. Saying its due to jin healing is a real stretch of the imagination. Again, the regeneration process bares a striking resemblance to the formation of gooey Zetsu cells. I find it to be the only logical answer yet still a rather insane upgrade.

except the attack didn't hit his heart, sure part of his body is gone but not his heart. also hashi's regen only goes so far, we haven't seen it regen part of a blown out body. if that was the case hashi would have never died in battle, to anyone. zetsu die from just getting hit by rasengan, so what happened is not the effect of hashi cells. the only true way he healed like that is through the juubi. as we know that being a jin grants you incredible healing feats. and the juubi is the god of the NV.

Obito's body is HALF ZETSU MATERIAL. He has no bones in that section of his body and no longer has to eat to maintain his lifeforce, see above and below:

Not eating and not processing food means they have no digestive system. Not having digestive organs means they logically don't need other organs. As the Zetsu said, they are androids. They don't need lungs to breathe.
As for Zetsu clone durability, that is not a factor. The particular Zetsu clones are weak and do not have strong life forces. Obito and Madara have strong life forces. Couple that with Zetsu regeneration, they are even stronger.
Hashirama cells are now blown out of the water, impossibly OP. Perhaps connecting to the Mazou amplified his cells and upgraded them to the point of seriously strengthening other people. However you slice it, Zetsu regeneration does not seem to be an ability Hashirmama had. He simply had normal healing, not Zetsu body parts. Hashirama was no where near as durable as you are implying he would be if my theory is correct. Again, what Hashirama had and what Zetsu bodies grant current characters is not the same thing.
