He saw which bijou Obito took from him, yet he is under the impression that
Obito couldnt take more than just a bit of Shukaku (1tails) and Gyujki (8tails).
Obito could probably take way more, but he just took only the bits that Naruto still missed.

Really this is a case of 2+8=10.
Madara should be aware that Naruto has something from every bijou, except Shukaku and Gyuki.
Still he doesnt seem to realise how strong Naruto will be once he comes back.

Madara is really not using his brain the last few chapters.

I dont mind though, because I am glad to see Naruto having befriended the bijou and getting parts from
all of them now, but I guess I would have preferred it if they succeeded giving this power to Naruto, without
Madara having to look like his brain went offline mode for a while.

What did you think of Madara the last few chapters.
Did he make some huge slip ups or not?

TBH yeah he should have noticed it already, but since he's Rikudou now he wouldn't care about bit of 1 and 8 tails chakra being removed. Heck he didn't even care about rikudou's tools

Small pieces are enough for what they are trying to accomplish. That is the main reason why Obito took small pieces. Not because he would be to incompetent to take more. Taking more would have taken a longer time and time is ticking with Naruto's life on the line.

Like it wasnt already obvious what Obito will plan to do with the bijou he took from Madara? It wouldnt have mattered much tbh. In a way it could even create extra excitement if Madara would be worried if Obito managed to Kamui, knowing it would be given to Naruto. I am not saying that Madara isnt intelligent btw. I am just saying his brain went offline mode for a bit .

This was the Bijuu's POV, not Madara's. The image talks by itself.

Madara only said 'probably' so he didn't sense which bijuu's chakra were inside Naruto.

It doesnt matter if Madara saw the bijou or not. He is aware that they are in Naruto. He has seen Naruto pull them out of Obito and not managing to grab the 1 and 8 tails, meaning he could conclude that Naruto didnt have those. He must have easily overheard Kakashi, Gaara, Minato and co talking about needing the Yin Kurama to save Naruto. Madara should have been more alarmed about Obito taking bijous 1 and 8 from him and going to the other dimension with Naruto (obviously to seal them in Naruto). He has shown plenty of intelligence in the story to be able to figure this out, yet his brain went in offline mode for a while.

Sorry OP but you are wrong about Obito being capable of taking more tailed beasts, but still you are right about Madara having brain damage or shutting down to not noticing that Obito took Shukaku and Gyuuki chakra for purpouse... but could take a bit/small amount of chakra from other tailed beasts... but not more in amount of these tailed beasts.

Why would one assume that Obito couldnt take more than a small pieces of Shukaku and Gyuuki? If he had plenty of time (as in, not having to hurry because of a dying Naruto), than I bet someone who could seal Juubi inside him, control him, handle Rinnegan, use Rinne Tensei, still walk after having the bijou and gedo mazo pulled out, overpower Black Zetsu and steal power from madara, could pull out more than small pieces of Shukaku and Gyuuki, seeing he could still Kamui after and seal everything in Naruto.
