I wouldn't say that he's loosing his rep but as soon as Hashirama came they've just been sparring and chit chatting. There not seriously fighting at all, just catching up with each other. It's pretty lame.

Ok , since you guys are talking about Madara , let me cut to the chase , first of all he solo'ed the 5 most powerful beings in the nv that are alive today which they are 5 kages . I bet that "Obito" couldn't do that .
Madara could just do the PS and kill them off all in one , why he didn't do that? bc he wanted to test his powers.
Plus Madara was the only one that got out from edo-tensei DOING SEALS not with the same thing with itachi but doing seals , now , if ppl ask how he do that? i'll answer that , bc kabuto showed tobi the seals to undo the edo-tensei. What the sharingan do? he copies the signs.
Meaning that Tobi is in fact madara.
So , lets see , infinite chakra , solo'ed 5 kages , got out from edo tensei , and i bet that he couldn't be controlled.
What Obito did? NOTHING AT ALL! the one who did it was Minato , you can read the chapter 637 (i think)
So , Madara controlled Obito - via Black Zetsu , he never died , he manipulated after he "died" , he did murdered the uchiha , he did attacked the village and "failed" but he killed minato , what more... He didn't died at the battle against hashirama ...
He is pratically the guy that has most knowledge of the battle that is going on in the manga.
Pretty sure that Juubito > Madara , sure , sure...

Obito is to madara what nagato was to obito, nothing more than a mean to an end. Obito has spotlight right now which is a good thing for Madara. In other words he is a distraction while madara is planning his next move. There is a good reason why Madara was invited to the battlefield with everyone else, because he is the villain after obito to be defeated. If he were fodder/unimportant kishimoto would have disposed of him when itachi ended edo tensei but that didn't happen. It's obvious why. And notice Hashirama vs Madara rematch isn't being focused much? Do you even know why? Because it's not about them two anymore, this fight is about Madara gaining more power and that's it. So if you thought Madara is not going to become more powerful, then I lol at you.
