But this still totally destroys the theme. It's still just Naruto and Sasuke only and naruto history is still slowly descending as they keep losing more and more of the Senju genes rather than the idea that the future progresses and there might even be a chance for peace in the future. I mean, which one is better- really?

choji earned butterfly mode, ino linked an entire army, while her dad needed help from some machine, madara and hashirama aren't' the only members of the previous generation, and did you honestly believe kishi implied more than naruto and sasuke would surpass those 2?

he did not mean that for example Aburama Clan will surpass previous Uchiha Clan members lol

However your taking that quote too literally. Tsunade surpassed her parents.. but she hasn't surpassed her grandpa.. and keeps on going like that.


It was never the main "Theme". It was a important "concept" but never a theme.
