Not really. After his mask was broken, Obito did not act like masked man tobi. So that must have been change in characterization. Obito simply lacked the brutality heart of a villain. He was not a villain in fact. More of antagonist.It's that TNJ. No one can resist it.

That's why i have a problem with his characterization. He doesn't seem to stay as 1 character, but keeps changing into even worse.
