Yes contradict your memory? Not the manga. Manga never said, how they awoke MS, neither did it mention any age. It just showed a picture of them with MS, nothing is said, whether this is from the exact moment they awoke it. Kishi can easily do it next chapter.

Dude, shut up and look at the picture above our posts. The dude above clearly showed you Madara and Izuna in teenage years when they awaikened the sharingan in the f*cking manga. LOOK at it.

You can clearly see it right there, they awaikened the ms there. And plus dude, why is it that everyone else who's awaikened MS have to kill someone before it awaikened? Itachi, Sasuke, Kakashi and Obito. All awaikened it after killing someone. Since Kakashi and Obito eyes are connected, Obito awaikened his eyes after Kakashi killed Rin.
No f*ck Shisui, we haven't seen sh*t from him period, so don't try to bring him up for anything. Madara and Izuna are not going to awake sh*t anytime until they are teens like it was SHOWN in the damn manga.

DUDE are you not reading what you are saying? If that happens then Kishi really will have contradicted himself. He would've gone from saying, you need to kill your best friend to awaiken ms, to pulling random bullsh!t like, oh, they witnessed the death of someone close to them, and suddenly bam, they get a new power, not even working for it? That's bullsh*t. No no no, they awaikened it after they killed they're friends, like I said.
Sigh, you just wont give up. I already commented on the picture in an earlier reply... It doesn't matter, what you see in some lame old picture 400 chapters ago.. Kishi can easily justify changing it. Just take Obito as an example. Did he look 15 during the 9-tail attack in height etc compared to how he looked, when he left Madara? No. So your argument is invalid. And as I said, we never directly saw, when they awoke their MS. Kishi can easily justify it, by saying it was an older picture.
Now to the part, where you say, you need to kill your best friend to awaken your eyes. Invalid too, since this has never been seen either. What Itachi said is invalid. He only told Sasuke that he needed to kill his best friend to get those eyes, cause he knew Sasuke would never do something like that then.
And nothing proves that Itachi killed Shisui, he would never do that anyway. It was suicide. And Sasuke didn't kill Itachi? Itachi died from his illness right in front of Sasuke. To be honest, Sasuke didn't even injure Itachi in that battle... Itachi just died in front of his eyes, not by his hands. You need to re-read a lot again...

This just sounds like a bunch a bullsh*t to me. I know what happened, so don't tell me to re read anything. If anybody knows anything about anything, it's ME.
I just know that Kishi likes to contradict what he writes all the time. It's just like with Izanagi, "requiring" both Uchiha and Senju dna as Tobi said. Then later on with Itachi, Sasuke, and Kabuto, Itachi says that Izanami forms a pair with izanagi and they are both uchiha kinjutsu.

Your last point is sorta wrong. MADARA had 4 brothers. 3, not 2, 3 of them died. Izuna is one of the 4 brothers Madara had.

First of all, he doesn't contradict anything. He do like to go as close to the limit of contradicting as possible, but that just makes the story unpredictable. Although he did it so much that it has become obvious now. But if you think, that cause something was said or shown many chapters ago, it means it's alpha omega, then you need to seriously re-read. DRS was said to be unbreakable. Oro broke it. Kurama was said to be evil, and tailed beasts in general, but they aren't. Izanagi as you mention. 3rd hokage was god of shinobi, well no. I could go on..
My point is, the only person that knows everything is Kishi. What he has his characters say, does not make it the real deal. Many characters have been either misinformed or liars. Obito probably was just misinformed. In the end Itachi knew more about the Uchiha than him, so no contradiction, simply it proves, who is more informed of the 2.
Anyway, point is, unless you actually see the evidence in the manga, you can't just assume stuff. We have not seen Madara awaken MS, so we cannot assume his actual age or looks, when it happened. It may happen next, it may not, but which it is does not contradict anything... Only contradictions you find are in the databook compared to the manga, however, Kishi is allowed to update the databook, and he probably will soon in the 4th, and poof it's gone. I mean an author of a manga is allowed to change his mind as he feels suits the story for the better.
Was reading this and i made an account just to reply lol. I understand From the Dark Spire that you are saying that Kishi shows us that Izuna and Madara achieved MS in that chapter. But I think what thegame is trying to say is that Kishi never showed HOW they got it. It clearly just states "...soon both of them obtained the power of the Mangekyou Sharingan". Also about how Sasuke gets MS from killing Itachi.. IMO i don't think we can really claim that sasuke killed Itachi. He was already very weakened and the moment he's about to "steal his eyes", Itachi collapses and dies (your definition of "killing someone" will affect how you perceive this). It's not til after Obito explains Itachi's life that Sasuke realizes how important Itachi was to him thus awakening the MS. Proof: We see him at the end of Chapter 15 (

) with the MS after he tears up emotionally. From this, I guess we can conclude that you don't have to kill someone important to you, but just witness their death. Just my opinion... don't flame me. On a side note, if Madara receives the MS after witnessing his father's death in the next couple chapters or so, then things would make sense but at the same time, the ages don't match and it would be "contradicting". Either way, we just have to wait and see. [:
