izuna didn't have to die, madara could of switch eyes with izuna , even though madara eyes lost it sight if izuna had received them they would have gotten back their light , how i know this , because itachi's eyes were dim but when sasuke received them he received ems, and his vision back, so basically izuna didn't have to die, him and madara could of switch eyes

I think they switched eyes in fact I even made a theory of it, and the reason they said he was dead IS duh HES WEARING A MASK, even if Madara said he was dead he knows the plan why ruin it, same with Tobi

It's also what -S- said, they didn't know much. You can't expect to know everything right off the bat. When you were a kid, you probably didn't know how to wipe your ass, see what I'm saying?

They didn't know how it works. Madara switched eyes just so that he would get MS with more eyesight. He didn't know he would get EMS. They must've just thrown out Madara's old eyes because they didn't know it would be worth anything.

nahh it doesn't work by just replacing i believe the eyes merge together why else would the uchiha be a cursed clan if they just trade eyes and if it was a simple trade eyes then madara would have given his eyes to his brother but that never happened and i don't think they would loose madaras spare eyes

Uhm no? There's no proof of that. When both Izuna and Madara unlocked the MS, they didn't know how to progress to the next stage, neither that they we're going to be blind by abusing it. I'm confident in stating that when you're eyes are completly blind, even switching host it doesn't revert them to the original state, so they couldn't just "trade" eyes, because one pair was useless. No situation with both siblings having MS unlocked ever happen again in the manga, that's why no one tried to switch eyes.

if i remember correctly itachi eyes were completely dim and when sasuke got them he could see clearly
