The theory is quite good. But it doesn't have much sense if it was the Juubi who took control over Obito and not otherwise. We have to wait and see if it was really Obito the one who absorbed the Juubi and not the Juubi itself who wanted to be complete again...

PS: Under the current state of Obito (just before turning into a Jinchuuriki), I highly doubt he had the capacity to become the Jinchuuriki by his current means...

Obito replied to Sasuke after completing the hand signs.

So? He wasn't possesed when he replied / he didn't have the Juubi sealed on his realm when he replied.

But he was sure about the hand signs he made. Also why would Juubi seal itself/ possess Obito's body? Juubi can just shoot a Bijuudama at Naruto.

I don't know anything about that. The last chapter revealed a new Obito with a face full of fear, and he hardly had some sense of his envirovment. Most of his psycho personality was not in there... so, Obito magically managed to seal the God of all Times inside himself with almost no chakra left (something too illogical for my taste) or it was the Juubi who entered to reach its final form, while Obito just opened a portal for this purpose (this makes more sense to me).

I won't go too deep into this... I refuse to accept that all this thing about Obito becoming Jinchuuriki was just a plot and the means were justified just because of plot.
